Dream no small dreams for they have no power to move the hearts of men.
SCHWARZSCHATTIGE GEFÜHLSWELTEN is, on one hand, the name of a series of 72 photographs taken on the island Högbonden in the region of the natural reserve at Högakusten, Sweden.
The images are overexposed and then inverted to create a dark, dreamlike sensation of the enchanted virgin forest.
And on the other hand, it is the title of three single-channel video loops on different lengths and sound composed by Wolfgang Dorninger, Rudi Wienand and Die Null.
The empty nature serves as a metaphor for social isolation while living in a foreign country.
