Our Philosophy

We take no financial risk. We “only” use our skills and our time.

artContraire wants to reach a worldwide audience to represent its artists worldwide. For this reason, our website is also designed international in different languages.

Young Artists

artContraire has set itself the task of promoting young artists and to act for them as a springboard into the internationality. We of artContraire are a young, ambitious team, which has set itself ambitious goals. We are passionate about art and we want to inspire many people for art, while also helping young artists to establish themselves at the international art market.

Win-Win Situations

At the age of 18, Alexander Weiskopf founded his first art company, which he has been successfully managing since over three years. The value that art has in an increasingly rationalized time for our society has become clear to him. However he wants more. He and the team of artContraire want to create win-win situations – for the artists and the artlovers.

It is also important for us to give our customers the opportunity not only to support the goals of young people, but also to invest in gifted artists. Furthermore, artContraire supports a social institution with 5% of its turnover in order to be able to actively help out of the privileged situation of success.

Virtual Art Gallery

We use the internet as a virtual gallery. However, despite of all the optimization, it is important for us not to lose sight of the personal element in the art trade. We want to be always available for our customers and offer them the most satisfying service. In addition, we also strive to give the customer the opportunity to meet the artist in person in his studio as part of “Meet my Artist”.
