The ability to shape the world like a sculpture and create something new through one’s hands is what makes us human. God formed man from clay. Man created his idols from gold and ore. In countless battles they shattered, but man’s powerful hands and creative thoughts formed ever new, more magnificent sculptures from their fragments. Life is transient, but sculptures allow us to overcome mortality.
